Junior Cricket Continues To Grow With Maccas' Support

WCC Cricket is proud to announce that McDonald's will continue supporting the Darwin and Districts Cricket Competition's Junior grades for the upcoming 2024 season, marking an incredible 16 years of support for Junior Cricket in Darwin.

Junior Cricket in the Top End has continued to grow with record Blast numbers in the March and April programs and an additional 4 teams registered ahead of the Junior Cricket season commencing this weekend. There are now 50 Junior Cricket teams and over 500 boys and girls registered in the U9s, U12s, U15s and through to U19s.
NT Cricket CEO Gavin Dovey is thrilled to have McDonald’s continue their support as part of the backing that McDonald’s gives community sport throughout Australia.

Phillip Coleman, Licensee for McDonald's Stuart Park and Darwin Central, stated his excitement about the renewed partnership and the opportunity to continue supporting the Darwin and Districts Cricket Competition's Junior grades.

The Junior competitions are set to kick off the 2024 season today, Saturday 20 April 2024.
